Holiday Wrappings

It all started with a Christmas gift. I forgot to buy wrapping paper but had to give it to a friend in a couple of hours. So I thought about what I had on hand—a brown paper bag from Whole Foods, plastic wrap left over from a bouquet of flowers and rubber bands. The result…

I had so much fun wrapping this gift, I decided to wrap everything in materials I could find and not purchase. Here’s what I came up with:

Inspired by a Christmas cracker. Brown paper bag, rubber bands and gold ribbon.

For the avid reader. I found an old magazine and saw a spread of book covers. So I cut them out and made a topper. Wrapped in a brown paper bag and rubber bands.

Wrapped in a brown paper bag and rubber bands. Made the heart from the handles of the bag.

I noticed that the inside of my Stitch Fix box had a cool lining. So I cut the box open and turned it inside out.

Wrapped this one in a brown paper bag from Publix. Topped it with red ribbon my mom had on hand.
